As part of the One Community Planning process, Urban Market Analytics completed a Baseline Analysis offering a snapshot of the economic status of African Americans in Florida’s fifth largest city (St. Petersburg).
The analysis is organized into eight sections that paint a picture of African Americans’ economic lives, including their income, employment and assets.
For perspective, the analysis cites economic gaps between black & white citizens for a host of metrics, as well as changes over time in progress indicators, such as home ownership.
