Over the past year, 50 community leaders have worked together to develop the One Community Plan as a 10-year economic growth plan for South St. Petersburg. When originally launched, the purpose of the One Community planning project was to identify and develop “10 Big Ideas to Transform the Economy of South St. Petersburg,” as a simple yet impactful approach to the city’s first economic growth plan for the 25-square mile South St. Petersburg area.

So far 19 “Big Ideas” have emerged from the 12-month planning project, and the plan committee may ultimately opt to shed the self-imposed limit of 10 Big Ideas.

Please help us decide. Community residents and leaders are being asked to weigh in, via an online survey and live feedback at our April 30, 2019 VISIONDISTRICT Expo where the 19 Big Ideas will be presented.
